Despite missing our families back home, we had a wonderful Easter weekend.
In the morning, we had Mass at our local parish, St. Kwinten’s, followed by an Easter egg hunt for all the children. Max found lots of chocolate and had a great time with his friends.
Max’s friend Evie also celebrated her first birthday on Sunday, so we all enjoyed some carrot cake and cookies after the hunt.
After naptime, Max opened his presents from the Easter bunny and did his very own Easter egg hunt around our house. He quickly got the hang of it and laughed hysterically whenever he found an egg. We even hid them a second time.
We ended our Easter celebration sharing dinner with Paul’s advisor and his wife, along with some new friends.
